Happy Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving has never been one of my favorite holidays. I'm a picky eater. I usually end up with macaroni, a roll, sausage balls and pineapple casserole on my plate--until dessert. Then I load up! But it is good to set aside at least one day to really focus on your blessings, and let me tell you--I AM BLESSED. I have a husband whom I adore and who adores me in return. I have a family that is willing to support me in all my projects (I'm looking at that follower list that's only got family listed as I write this on Sunday afternoon). My family is so great that I would love them and be friends with them even if they weren't family. I have friends who put up with the fact that I never call. (I really need to work on that) I have a job that might drive me crazy sometimes, but it pays the bills, it's probably not going anywhere, and I have enough downtime to get in some serious reading. I have a house that I love with a beautiful view. I might be a picky eater, but I always have more than enough to eat. I've even found an online community of book lovers that I enjoy interacting with. Life is good.
