Waiting on Wednesday: Bite Me by Christopher Moore

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating.

Since I recently finished Christopher Moore's The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror, I thought I would spotlight Moore's newest book, Bite Me.

Release Date: April 1, 2010

Synopsis: Okay, I can't really find a synopsis out there, but I did find this in an interview from February. Chris says: "The one I’m working on is Bite Me: A Love Story, wherein Chet, the huge, shaved, vampire cat takes over the city of San Francisco. It’s a love story." And it's the third in the vampire love stories. And Abby Normal shows up! Yay! I absolutely love her character!

So, I know this looks pretty lame, but I have a treat for you! You can read the first two chapters of the book on Moore's blog! I'm waiting on the book to come out, but a quick glance shows that Abby gets the story started off, and she is just as--well, just as Abby as ever!  I hope you enjoy!

What are you waiting on?

  2. I'm sure they are. He's hugely popular, and I thought the last one ended on a terrible cliffhanger!

  8. Thanks for stopping by, everyone! If you think his humor is to your taste, I highly recommend Christopher Moore. The first two books in the vampire love stories are Bloodsucking Fiends and You Suck. That's the official order, but these could be read independently without really missing out on anything.

That is a great cover, isn't it?
