Google+ The Introverted Reader: Birthday Loot

Birthday Loot

Wednesday, August 11, 2010

Okay, time to show off my bookish birthday loot! And maybe a few other things I particularly want to brag about. :-)  *crossing my fingers that my formatting sticks*

First of all, a big thank you to my friend Liz at Consumed by Books who surprised me by sending me a very cute card and a B&N gift card. Thanks, Liz!

My husband surprised me with this bracelet from Sweet Findings 4 You on Etsy. It's so delicate and pretty! I love it!

Celtic Candle Bookplate Stamp
I saw these personalized bookplate stamps in a giveaway on Emily's Reading Room and just had to have one. My sweet husband obliged and ordered me a personalized stamp from Asspocket Productions on Etsy. I meant to start stamping away this weekend, but after a super-stressful week last week, I only had the energy to veg out in front of mindless computer games all weekend. Hopefully this week will be better and I can get started on stamping my library next weekend!

Book Locket
My husband also surprised me with this beautiful book locket from The Enchanted Locket on Etsy. Mine doesn't have the two sparrows on the chain, but simpler is better for me. I haven't gotten pictures inside it yet, but I will soon. I don't think I've ever had a locket before!

Now for what you really want to know--which books did I get?  A pretty big stack of them!

I have a suspicion that I've forgotten something.  I know I handed a few over to my sister to borrow immediately because she wanted to read them and I knew I wouldn't be getting to them anytime soon.

So that's it!  What do you think?  Well, besides that I'm spoiled?
