Bookish Christmas Loot!
Monday, December 27, 2010
So here are the bookish things my family bought me for Christmas!
For the King by Catherine Delors
The Painted Boy by Charles de Lint
Mr. Rosenblum Dreams in English by Natasha Solomons
Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales (Beautifully leather-bound!)
The Exile of Sara Stevenson by Darci Hannah
The Killing Tree by Rachel Keener
Odd and the Frost Giants by Neil Gaiman
The Christmas Cross by Max Lucado
Blameless by Gail Carriger
a beautiful Parisian-looking notebook, a sparkly journal in my favorite shade of blue, and a t-shirt from our awesome local indie bookstore, Malaprops, that says "Eat. Sleep. Read." Sounds like a recipe for a perfect day to me!
Oh, and that's an umbrella with caricatures of famous women authors in the background. I don't mind carrying Austen, Dickinson, Brontë, and company around with me on a rainy day!
What did Santa bring you this year?
