It's Monday!  What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween around here! I've been posting reviews of horror-ish books and diving headlong into more spooky reads. I'm hoping to devote Character Connection to villains this month as well.

I don't really expect to finish any of these this week. If I do, I'll move on to The Curse of the Wendigo by Rick Yancey.

  2. Of the books on your list, I've only read The Replacement though I do have The Everafter. I am interested in finding out more about Ballad of the Whiskey Robber though. What a great title!

  8. So many good titles! I read the Penderwicks last summer and I think it is a great kids book. Both The Replacements and Curse of the Wendigo sound good!! I might have to read one this month.

I loved Horns, but Heart Shaped Box scared me too much to finish!

I did some Halloween reading this past week, too, although they weren't too spooky. Stop by my It's Monday post if you get a chance.
