Bookish Christmas Loot

As always, my family came through with the bookish Christmas gifts! Are you ready for the list?
I also got a subscription to The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction (current issue pictured), a To Kill a Mockingbird canvas bag, a beautiful new bookmark, and a new BookMate for my trade size paperbacks.  A Bookmate is a mostly hands-free way to read your book.  I have one already for mass market paperbacks and love it.

I also got an Anne of Green Gables poster from Postertext.  It's the coolest thing!  They create a print of a scene from a book using the text from the book.  This poster was created using the first 28 chapters from Anne of Green Gables.

I also got a skin for my phone from Decal Girl. Don't you think it's perfect for a reader?

And, only slightly related but of definite to interest to some of you, a calendar from ThisYearsGirl on Etsy. If you like fairy tales, you will love her artwork. (Incidentally, my sister says that she was great to work with. The calendar I got was highly customized.)

These were all gifts from my family and I only include links so that you can easily track them down if you'd like something for yourself.

  1. Very nice gifts! I got myself The Heroine's Bookshelf for Christmas and I want to read The House at Tyneford. I hope you enjoy all of your new book goodies :)

  2. What a lovely set of gifts! I had never heard of The Heroine's Bookshelf, but it sounds like something I'd like! Happy New Year!

  3. I received books too! 6 to be exact. It was just as exciting as receiving toys as a kid!

  4. Letters From Home is one of my favorite books from this year!

Thanks for taking the time to comment! Have a great day!
