I don't expect to finish any of these, but I might add a nonfiction book into the mix. I'm also expecting Joe Hill's newest book, NOS4A2 at the library soon.

What are you reading this week?

I have an affiliate relationship with Malaprop's, my local independent bookstore located in beautiful downtown Asheville, NC; and Better World Books. I will receive a small commission at no cost to you if you purchase books through links on my site. My opinions are completely my own.

  1. I loved NOS4A2!! I also really loved Days of Blood and Starlight. I tried to read And the Mountains Echoed but it broke me and I had to stop reading it. Haunted House sounds really god and scary!

I have been kind of taking a break as well- just so involved with other things. :)I hope your time away has been fun. :)

  2. You read quite a lot, and a very nice mix of fiction and non-fiction. The book about introverts sounds really interesting, and so does The school of essential ingredients. Thanks for the tip!

Have a great week & kind regards,

  3. I've debated reading Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking so many times. The problem is that I am BAD about actually reading non-fiction. Checking it out, sure. But actually reading it? It lingers on the shelf until I return it instead.

  4. I liked The Reader but it was a tough book. Quiet I thought was excellent. It's worth the effort to read it if nonfiction isn't your usual thing. I also loved Lighthousekeeping because Jeannette Winterson can do no wrong in my opinion. :)
