Review: Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts--3 Stars

The Hero and the Crown by Robin McKinley

Currently Reading:
Rome, 1960: The Olympics that Changed the World by David Maraniss

I've also been reading some of Edgar Allan Poe's short stories.

Up Next:
I'm honestly not sure. Probably The Country of the Pointed Firs by Sarah Orne Jewett.

What are you reading this week?

I have an affiliate relationship with Malaprop's, my local independent bookstore located in beautiful downtown Asheville, NC; and Better World Books. I will receive a small commission at no cost to you if you purchase books through links on my site. My opinions are completely my own.

  1. Enjoy your books! I haven't read any of them, but I'm curious. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  2. Happy Sunday! Great post on the McKinley book- I've never read her but I know what you mean about those 80's fantasies. Funny how they weren't all a million page and you could read and be done. :)

  3. I liked The Hero and the Crown when I was a teen but can't really remember it that well. I should read it again sometime. Edgar Allen Poe is perfect for this time of year.

  4. The Country of The Pointed Firs sounds interesting.

I haven't read Edgar Allen Poe for ages.

    ENJOY your reading week.
